The 5 Senses of Marketing and Why Your Brand Should Smell Better
Sensory marketing sounds like something out of a perfume ad or a luxury chocolate commercial… and honestly, that’s not far off.
But whether you’re a café owner, fashion label, real estate agent, or business card hoarder with a dream, tapping into your customers’ senses might just be the marketing glow-up you didn’t know you needed.
And no, we’re not saying your brand needs to taste like cinnamon toast or feel like Egyptian cotton (although, now that you mention it…).
Let’s get into what sensory marketing actually is, how the five senses fit in, and how clever brands (yes, even the small ones) are using this to stick in our heads (and noses) for years.
Short on Time? Here’s Our Top Tips in 60 Seconds…
Most brands try to look good. The smart ones aim to feel good.
Sensory marketing is about using all five senses – sight, sound, smell, touch, and even taste (when relevant) – to create a brand experience people don’t just notice, but remember.
Start with sight. Consistent, well-designed visuals build trust and make your brand instantly recognisable across everything from packaging to business cards.
Sound and scent? Silent salespeople. The right music or a subtle signature smell can turn a casual visit into a full-on vibe.
Touch adds depth. A textured invite or soft-finish sticker feels premium. And people remember how your brand feels in their hands.
You don’t need to be Apple or Aesop. Even a beautifully printed menu or a detailed business card can spark that all-important sensory connection.
Want to build a brand people obsess over? Let’s break it down.
What Is Sensory Marketing Anyway?
Think of sensory marketing as advertising that flirts with your nervous system.
It’s not content. It’s not copywriting. It’s a vibe.
You’re not just showing people your brand. You’re making them feel it. Smell it. Taste it (in a legally non-weird way). You’re creating experiences people don’t just see, they remember.
It’s like going on a date with a brand. And instead of dinner and awkward small talk, you get mood lighting, good music, soft textures, and maybe even a complimentary mint.
The 5 Senses of Marketing (and How To Use Them)
Let’s break it down. Here are the five ways you can seduce (ahem, connect with) your customers.
1. Sight
Because eyes are still doing most of the shopping.
Visual marketing is where most businesses already play. But there’s a difference between “nice flyer” and “I need to keep this because it’s too good to throw out.”
Colour, layout, fonts, imagery – it all hits differently when done right.
Pro tip: Brand consistency builds trust. That means your signage, business cards, packaging, and even your thank-you cards should all speak the same visual language.
Need help making your brand look irresistible on paper? Our custom printing services are designed to help your business stand out from the pack.
2. Sound
Because silence isn’t always golden.
Ever noticed how certain jingles get lodged in your brain like a popcorn kernel? That’s sensory marketing via sound.
Whether it’s background music in your store, a cheeky TikTok audio, or even the slick sound of a luxury envelope opening, sound tells a story.
It says: “We’re relaxed.” Or “We’re premium.” Or “We’re cool and edgy with a Spotify playlist to prove it.”
3. Smell
The most underrated sense in marketing.
Scent is wild. One whiff of coconut sunscreen and suddenly you’re emotionally back on schoolies.
Brands that get this (like bakeries wafting fresh bread into the street, or real estate agents baking cookies during an open home) are tapping into pure, unfiltered nostalgia.
Think signature scents in-store, scented packaging, or even scratch-and-sniff direct mailers (yep, they still exist).
4. Touch
If your product feels cheap, your brand probably will too.
This is where the world of print really shines. Texture is a silent salesman. Heavy cardstock, embossed logos, velvet finishes – they all say, “We care about the details.”
Want to be remembered after a handshake? Hand over a custom business card that actually feels like something. (Hint: we’ve got you.)
5. Taste
Obviously not for everyone… but when it fits, it’s powerful.
If your business involves food, drinks, or anything edible, congrats, you’ve got a built-in sensory superpower.
But even non-food brands can get clever here. Think branded lollies at the counter. Champagne in-store events. Promotional chocolates with packaging that matches your brand palette. It’s all on the menu.
Taste equals joy. And joy equals brand loyalty. Plus, who doesn’t love a free snack?
Why Bother With All This Sensory Stuff?
Because your brand is not a PDF.
It’s not just a logo or a tagline or some nice words on a screen. It’s an experience. And the more of your customers’ senses you can tap into, the more likely they are to remember you and come back for more.
Here’s the deal:
Most people are bombarded with thousands of marketing messages every day. They scroll, they skim, they forget. But when something makes them feel something, when it looks amazing, feels luxe, smells inviting, or sounds familiar, it cuts through the noise.
And this isn’t just marketing fluff – it’s backed by science.
According to Mood Media, 90% of shoppers are more likely to return to a business when the music, visuals, and scent create an enjoyable atmosphere.
That’s nearly everyone! Even seemingly subtle details, like background tunes, can shape how people feel in your space.
Just using music alone makes a noticeable impact on your customer experience, with research from MRC Data finding that 72.6% of shoppers actively notice in-store tunes.
And here’s the kicker: you don’t need to be a global brand with a stadium-sized marketing budget to pull this off. Even small tweaks to your packaging, signage or printed materials (through the right printing services) can create a sensory moment that sticks.
Real Brands Doing Sensory Marketing Right
Sensory marketing sounds a little theoretical until you see it in action. So here’s the proof. These brands aren’t just selling products, they’re selling experiences, and they’re doing it one sense at a time.
Apple

Apple’s iconic Fifth Avenue ‘Cube’ sets the bar for an in-store sensory experience
Walk into an Apple Store and you’re not just there to browse. You’re entering a calm, minimalist tech temple.
- Sight: Clean lines, uniform lighting, zero clutter.
- Touch: Every device is out, ready to be tapped, swiped, and lovingly caressed.
- Sound: Subtle ambient music, but never chaotic. Just enough to remind you this isn’t JB Hi-Fi.
It’s all designed to make you feel smart, sleek, and like the future is already in your hands.
Lush Cosmetics
If you’ve ever walked past a Lush store and suddenly smelled like a lavender farm, you know what we mean.
- Smell: You can detect a Lush from halfway down the block.
- Sight: Products look like rainbow desserts.
- Touch: You’re encouraged to pick things up, squish them, try scrubs and soaks on your skin.
It’s chaos… in the most delightful, sensory-overload kind of way.
Qantas Business Lounge
This is business travel, but with an emotional support blanket made of wine and mood lighting.
- Sound: Soft jazz, hushed voices, zero airport announcements.
- Touch: Plush seating, smooth countertops, cool glassware.
- Taste: Free snacks that somehow taste better when you didn’t pay for them. Qantas knows stress-free luxury is a vibe and they serve it up one soft-scented hand towel at a time.
Aesop
https://www.instagram.com/p/DJXCVXWzMgG/?img_index=1
They turned hand soap into a lifestyle.
- Smell: Every store smells like sophistication in botanical form.
- Sight: Understated, apothecary-style shelves and packaging.
- Sound: Gentle, library-like hush. Even the staff speak like they’re narrating an art documentary.
You don’t just buy Aesop. You become someone who uses Aesop.
Bonus: Your Local Café
Yep, even your neighbourhood coffee shop is doing sensory marketing. They just might not know it.
- Smell: Fresh coffee is the scent of productivity and comfort.
- Touch: A beautifully textured loyalty card you can’t help but fidget with.
- Sight: Branded takeaway cups with a great logo, Instagram-friendly wall art, or colour-coded mood lighting.
No million-dollar campaigns here, just a smart use of the senses to make you come back tomorrow (and tell your friends).
So… How Can You Start?
Let’s face it, most of us aren’t running billion-dollar brands with scent labs, sonic logos, or a global retail empire.
And that’s fine.
You don’t need to overhaul your business or hire a full-time “Chief of Vibes” to dip your toes into sensory marketing.
You just need to start small, smart, and with your senses switched on.
Here’s how:
1. Upgrade the Way Your Brand Feels
We’re talking literal touch.
If you hand someone a business card and it flops like a noodle, you’ve already lost the sensory game. Texture matters. So does weight. So does finish.
Start with the low-hanging fruit:
- Swap standard card stock for something thicker and more luxurious
- Try embossing, debossing or foil finishes to create visual and tactile interest
- Use soft-touch lamination to make your brand feel smooth and premium, like velvet, but for business
This doesn’t just apply to business cards, by the way. Menus, brochures, swing tags, and even envelopes can become sensory experiences.
2. Make Visual Consistency a Priority
Sensory marketing is all about recognition, and sight is your front-line soldier. That means it’s time to take your brand visuals seriously.
- Use a consistent colour palette across all print and digital materials
- Choose fonts that are both readable and reflective of your vibe (quirky café ≠ corporate sans-serif)
- Make sure your packaging looks good enough to post on Instagram (and gets reposted)
If you’re still rocking four different logos across your flyers, business cards and packaging… now is your moment.
3. Choose One Signature Sensory Cue
You don’t need to do all five senses right away. Just pick one and own it.
- Maybe it’s scent: a signature fragrance in your store, or lightly scented packaging that makes people pause before they recycle it
- Maybe it’s sound: background music in your space, or a fun little sound when someone confirms an online order
- Or maybe it’s taste: lollies in every order, or a cup of herbal tea handed out at your next pop-up stall
You’re not trying to overwhelm people. You’re trying to make them remember you.
4. Treat Every Touchpoint Like It Matters (Because It Does)
Every time a customer holds something from your brand (whether it’s a flyer, a thank-you card, or a sticker), that’s a branding opportunity.
So ask yourself:
- Does this feel generic or does it feel intentional?
- Does it align with the rest of my brand experience?
- Would I keep this or toss it the second I’m done reading it?
If your current print collateral feels like an afterthought, our custom print service center can help it feel like the main character.
5. Test, Tweak and Trust Your Gut
Sensory marketing isn’t a one-size-fits-all strategy. You might find your customers are really into soft finishes, or that your branded scent is a little too “spicy vanilla disaster” for public use.
That’s okay. Start small. Get feedback. Try again.
The goal isn’t perfection, it’s memorability.
And in a world where brands compete for attention like toddlers in a lolly aisle, being memorable is half the battle.
Wrap It Up Like a Sensory Genius
Sensory marketing isn’t just for brands with million-dollar budgets. It’s for anyone who wants to be remembered.
And if you’re ready to upgrade the touch part of your brand, FASTPRINTING.COM is here with velvet laminates, custom finishes, embossed details, and more.

How to Turn Your Packaging Into a Marketing Weapon
Let’s be honest.
Your packaging is being judged. Before they know your ingredients are organic or your serum was forged by Himalayan monks during a lunar eclipse, customers are silently asking one question:
“Do I want to keep this box, or bin it immediately?”
Welcome to the ‘First Impression Economy’, where a matte-black finish and a gold foil logo can sell your product before it’s even opened.
Let’s unpack how custom printing services can create packaging that sparks joy, screams quality, and just maybe earns a second life as a jewellery box.
Key Takeaways
- Packaging is your product’s first impression, and customers do judge the box
- Texture, colour, and structure all influence how ‘premium’ your brand feels
- Keepable packaging boosts brand loyalty and shelf-life (literally)
- Print techniques like foil, embossing, and die-cuts turn heads and get kept
- Avoid common mistakes like flimsy stock, Canva designs, and low-res prints
Ready to see what that looks like in action? Let’s unpack the details.
Why Packaging Psychology Matters More Than Your Instagram Grid
People don’t “unbox” for fun – they do it for validation. And that starts the moment they touch your parcel. Is it soft-touch? Is the logo embossed? Does it whisper, “I am premium, please respect me”?
According to a 2022 packaging psychology study (yes, that’s a thing), customers subconsciously link texture, colour, and weight to product quality, leading to a boost in “purchase intentions” and “brand attitude”.
So when your skincare arrives in a flimsy mailer bag with a grainy sticker, it doesn’t say “eco-conscious indie brand.”
It says “side hustle rush job.”
That’s why working with a custom print centre that understands texture, finish, and feel is critical – it’s not just about aesthetics, it’s about psychology.

If They Don’t Want to Keep It, You’ve Already Lost
In the age of curated pantries, aesthetic recycling bins, and TikToks titled “Unboxing but Make It Sexy”, packaging has a new KPI: Is it too nice to throw away?
Today’s consumers aren’t just looking for a product, they’re auditioning items for their open shelving.
That candle better come in a box cute enough to stash earrings in. That face oil? It had better slide out of a drawer box that screams I own a bathrobe with a matching headband.
So what makes packaging keepable in 2025? Here’s the formula:
1. Premium Feel Without Pretension
It’s not about being expensive. It’s about feeling intentional.
- Soft-touch lamination gives a buttery, can’t-stop-touching-it finish.
- A sturdy magnetic closure says, “This product came to stay.”
- Heavier, recycled paper stocks feel luxe and ethical. Double win.
2. Built-In Storytelling
If your box just says the product name and a barcode, congratulations – you’ve created garbage.
But if it whispers a story (who made it, what inspired it, where it’s headed), people start to bond.
Pro tip: Use interior flaps, fold-outs, or hidden panels to surprise them with a quote, a mission, or even a cheeky thank-you.
3. Reusability (Yes, That Old Chestnut)
Not the boring kind where people pretend they’ll reuse it for receipts. We’re talking actual second-life potential:
- Drawer-style boxes for stationery
- Tubes for makeup brushes
- Flip-top lids that scream tiny treasure chest
When packaging becomes useful, it sticks around. And every time they see it, they remember you. That’s not just design – it’s brand psychology with benefits.

Printing Techniques That Wow
Let’s face it, if your current packaging plan is “print the logo, centre it, and hope for the best,” it’s time for an intervention.
Today’s consumers are a little spoiled. They’ve seen foil stamping that glints in the sun like a dragon’s hoard. They’ve felt soft-touch finishes that make a box feel like a velvet handshake.
And now, they expect packaging that performs as much as it protects, and businesses expect a custom printing service that delivers on the hottest current designs.
Here’s what’s turning heads (and getting kept) in 2025:
Foil Printing
https://www.instagram.com/p/DJ4gqHyp7BJ/
Gold, rose gold, holographic – you name it. Foil is the universal signal for “I spent more on this than I should have, and I don’t regret it.”
Perfect for: luxury skincare, limited-edition anything, and making your logo look 300% more important than it actually is.
Check out our foil guide.
Embossing & Debossing
Texture is the silent flex of print.
Embossing raises your logo off the page—literally. Debossing presses it down for that sunken-in sophistication. Either way, it gives customers something to feel before they even open the box.
Perfect for: business cards, soap boxes, candle sleeves, ego boosts.
Die-Cut Shapes
Die-cutting says, “I’m not like other rectangles.” It lets you add creative cutouts, shaped edges, or sneak peeks inside the box without lifting the lid.
Perfect for: tea boxes, apparel tags, boutique food packaging and showing off your inner product beauty.
Transparent Overlays
Think frosted vellum, plastic windows, or layered translucents that play with light and shadow. It’s packaging meets modern art.
Perfect for: perfume, stationery, or anyone trying to look mysterious but approachable.
Eco Meets Luxe
Yes, you can go green without going bland. Recycled kraft stock with a gloss foil overlay? That’s 2025’s answer to “I care about the planet and my aesthetic.”
Perfect for: coffee, wellness products, anything you’d find in a Byron Bay pop-up shop.
Pro tip: One standout finish is usually better than cramming in five. You want to look considered, not like you raided a print effects buffet with no adult supervision.

Design-Print Combos That Work
Design and print aren’t two separate departments – they’re a power couple. When they’re in sync, your packaging becomes a physical experience.
When they’re not, you end up with a die-cut disaster that looks cute in Figma but collapses in production.
Let’s break down some visual tactics that actually hit, especially when paired with the right materials and finishes.
1. Colour Blocking for Instant Shelf Standout
https://www.instagram.com/p/DG53bIxJgpJ/
Bold, contrasting colour panels grab attention faster than a clearance sticker. Use blocks of vivid colour to guide the eye, frame your logo, or create visual drama that doesn’t require intricate artwork.
Best paired with:
- Matte lamination for a smooth, modern look
- Clean sans-serif typography
- Minimal text (let the colour speak)
Why it works: Colour blocking adds personality without requiring detailed design, making it ideal for fast-moving consumer goods or DTC brands that want to look chic but keep costs in check.
2. Maximalist Typography
Forget whispery fonts and tiny captions. In 2025, big, bold, borderline-weird type is in. Loud slogans, oversized branding, and type-as-graphic design = instant memorability.
Best paired with:
- Embossing or debossing for that tactile hit
- High-contrast colours like white on black or neon on kraft
- Simple packaging structures to let the text do the talking
Why it works: Typography becomes your design. When done well, it’s art. And when printed right, it feels powerful in hand.
3. QR Codes With Personality
Nobody wants to scan a QR code that feels like it leads to a PDF from 2008. Give yours a voice. Add a border that says “Scan me, I dare you” or embed it in an unexpected shape.
Best paired with:
- Sticker labels so you can swap them seasonally
- Bright colours to contrast against the box
- Short, mobile-friendly landing pages (please, no PDFs)
Why it works: When your QR code has personality, it extends your brand beyond the box – into content, community, or even cheeky loyalty perks.
4. Layered Textures
Texture stacking is the visual equivalent of accessorising well. Think matte base with a spot-gloss logo. Or foil stamped onto kraft stock for that rustic-but-rich feel.
Best paired with:
- Soft-touch lamination to up the tactile game
- Earthy or pastel tones to contrast the shine
- Minimalist design to keep it from feeling cluttered
Why it works: This combo creates dimensionality. Your packaging doesn’t just look premium, it feels like it belongs in a boutique.
The best custom printing services don’t just follow your design – they enhance it, aligning print finishes with layout for packaging that performs and persuades.

Who’s Doing It Right?
(Without Naming Names… Mostly)
We can’t dish client names, but we can drop hints.
- Candle brands making boxes that look like jewellery packaging
- Skincare startups using foil over frosted vellum for spa-day vibes
- Boutique coffee roasters going full die-cut + kraft for that organic-but-hip feel
- Fashion labels adding sticker labels as collectors’ items, not just logos
Across the board, the lesson is this: people want packaging that feels like part of the product, not just something that holds it.
Common Mistakes That Send Customers Running (and Tweeting About It)
You’ve done the hard part – you’ve created a great product. It’s functional, fabulous, and maybe even life-changing. But if it arrives in packaging that looks like it cost 42 cents and a favour?
Congratulations, you’ve just undone all your hard work.
Packaging is the first physical interaction someone has with your brand. If that first touchpoint is off, flimsy, or straight-up boring, they might never make it to what’s inside.
Let’s break down the biggest culprits behind good products getting badly introduced to the world:
1. Generic Fonts and Canva Overload
Nothing says “my brand doesn’t have a personality” quite like default typefaces and templated designs.
If your logo looks like it was dropped on the box 10 minutes before deadline with a sad Helvetica Bold, don’t be surprised when customers assume what’s inside is equally forgettable.
Pro tip: Fonts are vibes. Choose ones that reflect your brand story, not just “whatever was in the free version.”
2. Print That Misses the Mark
We’re talking low-res logos, misaligned artwork, and colours that looked fine on your laptop but printed three shades off and slightly sideways.
Customers do notice. They might not say it to your face, but they’ll whisper it to their friends – and worse, to the internet.
Reality check: If the print looks off, the product feels cheap. No one wants to buy from a brand that looks like it printed its packaging at the office supply store.
3. Paper Stock That Feels Like a Cereal Box
Your product is high-end, but your box feels like it could barely survive a drizzle? That’s a mismatch.
If your packaging bends, creases, or sounds like it’s one snap away from collapsing, customers associate that flimsiness with your product quality, whether it’s true or not.
Upgrade suggestion: Heavier GSM stock with a subtle texture or soft-touch finish says, “I’m serious about what’s inside.”
4. Finishes That Smudge, Peel, or Flake
A foil finish is meant to say premium. But if it starts flaking off like bad glitter after one touch, your brand screams “closeout bin.”
Same goes for smudged ink, over-glossed laminate, or matte finishes that mysteriously attract fingerprints like a crime scene.
Moral of the story: Choose finishes that are made to last (and test them with real handling before your customers do).
5. Designs That Scream “Dropshipped”
You know the ones: random pattern background, too much white space, or awkward centring that gives “I did this in PowerPoint.”
If your packaging gives off “mass-produced generic” energy, your brand doesn’t stand out – it blends into the noise.
Brand-building tip: Unique die-cuts, custom sticker labels, and even small design tweaks can make your packaging look intentionally crafted, not carelessly templated.
How to Get Started Without Losing Your Mind
So, you’re convinced. You want packaging that gets “oohs” on unboxings and earns a second life as a jewellery box, pen holder, or shrine to your brand. Great.
Now what?
Getting started with custom printing services doesn’t have to be overwhelming. If you’re a startup founder, solo creative, or someone who’s googled “what’s GSM in paper,” don’t worry.
You don’t need a packaging PhD to look like you have your life together.
Here’s how to dive in without crying over colour proofs:
1. Start With One ‘Wow’ Factor
Don’t try to cram every print finish into your first run. That’s how you end up with a hot foil, embossed, die-cut nightmare that looks like a birthday card on steroids.
Instead, choose one hero feature:
- A foil-stamped logo
- A custom die-cut sleeve
- A soft-touch feel that makes people say “ooh” out loud
This single standout will elevate your brand without overwhelming your budget or your printer.
2. Choose a Stock That Feels as Good as It Looks
Think of your box like a handshake. You want it to feel confident, not limp and papery.
Good packaging starts with the right paper. Kraft, linen, recycled matte… there are a lot of options. That’s why we always recommend…
3. Get a Sample Pack
Don’t guess. Don’t wing it. Don’t pick a finish based on a tiny thumbnail.
Order a sample pack and touch everything like a Victorian textile merchant.
Feel the difference between soft-touch and matte. Smell the recycled paper (optional). Try tearing the linen stock (not recommended).
Order your sample pack here (your future self will thank you).
4. Start Small With Low MOQs
You don’t need to order 10,000 boxes to look like a million-dollar brand.
At FASTPRINTING.COM, we offer low minimum order quantities so you can test your packaging in the wild without committing to a lifetime supply.
Perfect for limited releases, launches, seasonal designs, or just testing your new “elevated but still eco” brand identity.
If They Keep the Box, You Win
In 2025, packaging isn’t just protection; it’s part of your brand identity, marketing, and even user experience.
So print boldly. Emboss unapologetically. And never underestimate how much people judge a book by its box.
Want to create packaging worth hoarding? FASTPRINTING.COM is your go-to custom print centre for packaging that gets kept, not tossed.

Real Estate Business Card Ideas That Win Clients in 2025
Let’s face it—most business cards end up forgotten in drawers or tossed away. If you’re a real estate agent in 2025 still handing out generic cards with stock images, it’s time for a change.
In today’s digital age, your business card should be more than just contact information; it should be a memorable extension of your brand. With QR codes, virtual tours, and AI-driven marketing, your card needs to stand out and reflect your unique identity.
Key Takeaways
These days, a business card isn’t just a contact detail – it’s a branding moment. Before we dive into our favourite real estate card tricks, here’s a quick look at what’s working right now (and why it matters).
Design That Gets You Noticed
- Shape matters: Custom designs (like house or key shapes) make your card impossible to forget.
- Show, don’t just tell: Folded or multi-panel cards give you space to showcase listings, stats, or a killer intro.
- Stock up on quality: Luxe finishes and heavyweight stock send a strong message: you’re worth remembering.
Function Meets Follow-Up
- QR codes aren’t dead: When they lead to something useful (like listings, videos, or bookings), they drive real action.
- Tech it up: NFC chips and AR elements bring the wow, but always keep the experience grounded in you.
Words That Work Harder
- Use humour wisely: A clever line or memorable tagline can earn your card a spot on the fridge.
- Get personal: Handwritten notes, real headshots, and authentic language build instant trust and make your brand feel human.
Now let’s break down how the best agents are putting these ideas into action (and how you can, too).
Cards That Open Doors (Literally and Figuratively)
Shaped cards are making a comeback (and they’re getting clever).
We’re not just talking rounded corners. We’re talking house keys, miniature “For Sale” signs, even door-shaped die-cuts with a cheeky “open me” fold. These playful designs instantly tie into the property game and make you impossible to forget.
FASTPRINTING.COM Tip: Want to go bold? Try a custom business card shaped like a house, key, or even a SOLD sticker. We’ve got all the custom trim options to bring weird and wonderful to life.
QR Codes That Actually Do Something Useful
QR codes aren’t new, but in 2025, they’re finally being used properly.
No more dead links or sending people to your LinkedIn page that hasn’t been updated since 2018. Today’s real estate agents are using QR codes to turn a basic card into a launchpad for their entire brand.
Imagine this: you hand someone your business card at a café or an open house. They scan the little square and *bam* they’re instantly watching a 60-second video tour of a just-listed property.
Or they’re on your booking page, choosing a time to meet. Or they’re reading glowing testimonials from past clients who swear you’re the only reason they survived auction day.
The trick is to link to something that adds value, not just more fluff. Think:
- A personal intro video
- A curated list of current listings
- A lead magnet, like a “Top 10 Tips for First-Home Buyers” guide
- A Google Review page (if you’re sitting on five stars, flaunt it)
The easier you make it for someone to go from “who’s this?” to “I want them selling my house,” the better.
Luxe Stocks That Feel as Good as They Look
You know that feeling when you pick up a business card and it’s weirdly… luxurious? Thick enough to double as a coaster. Smooth like suede. Maybe with a hint of shine or a bold texture that says, “Yeah, I don’t cut corners.”
That’s the feeling you want your clients to have.
It’s 2025. The Reserve Bank is gearing up to send property prices soaring (again) with a round of interest rate cuts, and smart real estate agents are ditching the flimsy budget cards and going premium.
Because let’s face it, if sellers are looking to snag over a mil on their next property purchase, they aren’t partnering with the guy handing out the “cheap” feeling business cards.
Here’s what’s trending:
- Embossed & Debossed: A simple, elegant way to stand out (literally!)
- Luxury Cotton: Eco-friendly and seriously classy
- Textured: Impossible not to rub between your fingers
- Spot UV & foil stamping: For when you want certain elements (like your name or logo) to shine (literally)
A luxury business card doesn’t just impress; it lingers. People don’t chuck cards like that into the bin. They admire them. They show them to their mates. And that’s exactly what you want.
Mini Portfolios in Card Form
Let’s say you’ve got killer listings, a signature client experience, and a local rep for selling homes faster than auctioneers can talk.
Why cram all of that into a single-sided 90x55mm rectangle?
Folded business cards and multi-panel designs are giving agents the space to show off, not just show up.
In 2025, cards are doubling as mini portfolios. You might have one panel dedicated to a QR code linking to your latest listings. Another could feature a “Why Choose Me?” blurb or highlight your key stats (because “85% of listings sold above reserve” never hurts).
A flap might offer space to jot down an appraisal date or open home details. And of course, the back cover could showcase your headshot (the real one, not that cropped-in family BBQ pic).
Folded cards let you build a richer story – visually, emotionally, and practically. And they’re perfect for clients who like something tangible they can flick through, magnet to the fridge, or hand to their neighbour who’s “thinking about selling.”
Business card or mini-brochure? Why not both?
Personalised Like a Housewarming Gift
In real estate, trust is everything, and trust starts with connection. That’s why in 2025, the most memorable business cards aren’t just clever… they’re personal.
We’re talking about cards that don’t feel mass-produced (even if they are). A handwritten “Thanks for coming by!” scribbled on the back. A photo of you out front of a sold sign, not some anonymous stock image. A little printed note that says something like:
“I help people find the place they’ll host their first Christmas lunch.”
It’s warm. It’s human. And it cuts through the cold professionalism people often expect in real estate.
Some agents are even taking it up a notch, adding signature stamps, laser cutting their initials, or including a short client testimonial printed right on the card.
It’s the equivalent of a housewarming gift in business card form: simple, thoughtful, and just enough to make someone smile.
Because when someone feels like you see them as more than just a lead, you’re already halfway to winning their trust.
FASTPRINTING.COM Tip: Use the uncoated back side to make handwritten notes pop. Perfect for thank-yous or quick follow-ups.
Cards That Spark Conversation (or a Laugh)
We all know someone whose fridge is covered in magnet business cards. But how many of them actually stand out?
The cards people remember are the ones that make them chuckle, do a double-take, or start a conversation. In 2025, real estate agents are ditching dry corporate taglines in favour of something a little more cheeky and real.
Some clever agents are printing business cards with lines like:
- “I sell houses. I also remember your dog’s name.”
- “Your nosey neighbour already called me.”
- “Let’s turn ‘just looking’ into ‘just sold.’”
Humour makes you approachable. Relatable. Likeable. And in an industry where personality is your superpower, that counts for a lot.
The goal isn’t to be a stand-up comic. It’s to make people pause and think, “I like this person already.” Your card shouldn’t just sit in someone’s wallet – it should make them smile when they see it.
Tech-Infused, But Still Human
In 2025, blending tech with personal service isn’t optional; it’s expected. But don’t stress, you don’t need to embed a hologram of yourself in your business card (though… cool idea).
What agents are doing:
- Embedding NFC chips that instantly open your listings when someone taps your card with their phone
- Linking to AR content, like 3D floor plans or virtual walkthroughs
- Adding a voice note greeting or intro video via scannable links
These tricks show you’re up with the times, and they’re particularly appealing to digital-savvy buyers and sellers who want to see what you’ve got right now.
But here’s the kicker: tech shouldn’t replace the personal stuff. It should enhance it. If your QR code opens to a cold, impersonal landing page, you’ve lost the magic.
The best use of tech in a business card? It leads to more of you: your voice, your vibe, your values.
Because no matter how fancy the features, the thing that closes the deal is still good old-fashioned trust.
Don’t Be Another Bland Rectangle
In the competitive property market, your business card isn’t just a formality. It’s a handshake, a brand statement, and your first shot at being remembered.
You want something that looks sharp, feels quality, and actually says something about you, not just your job title.
So why hand out a stock-standard snooze-fest? At FASTPRINTING.COM, we make custom business cards that real estate agents actually want to hand out – bold, memorable, and made fast.

Why Smart Brands Buy Stickers Made in the USA
You’re launching something big: a new brand, a new product, a podcast, a band, or a TikTok-famous dog treat biz. What’s the first thing you need?
Stickers.
Custom, high-quality, eye-catching stickers that say, “We mean business—and we look damn good doing it.”
So you browse online and find some overseas supplier offering 10,000 holographic die-cuts for less than the cost of lunch. Sounds like a win?
It’s not.
Here’s why choosing locally made stickers isn’t just a better option—it’s a smarter, faster, and far less risky one.
At a Glance
In a rush? Here’s the cheat sheet version – everything you need to know about why local stickers beat overseas deals, no fine print or freight delays required.
- Faster Delivery: No customs, no waiting 3 weeks for tracking to update.
- True Value: Avoid hidden shipping, taxes, and “oops” surprises.
- Deadline-Saving Support: Skip the import headaches. Local offers better value with no nasty surprises.
- Deadline-Saving Support: Real people. Real help. Real fast.
- Real People, Real Help: You get real advice from people who care, not canned replies.
- Eco-Conscious: Less freight, lower emissions, greener footprint.
- Wide Range of Options: From clear vinyl to luxury textures.
Ready for the deeper dive? Let’s unpack each of these sticker truths and show you exactly why “buying local” isn’t just the feel-good option – it’s the right one.
Overseas Orders Come With Baggage
Let’s be honest—ordering stickers from halfway across the globe is a gamble.
Shipping delays. Mysterious adhesives. A print result that looks nothing like your design.
With U.S.-made custom stickers, you skip the uncertainty.
You get fast, reliable delivery—without wondering if your order’s stuck in customs or floating somewhere over the Pacific.
Stickers That Actually Stick (And Look Great Doing It)
Ever gotten a sticker that peels off too soon? Or worse—refuses to come off and leaves behind a gross, gluey mess?
That’s what happens when you order mass-produced, low-quality stickers made with mystery adhesives. They’re not designed for your climate, your surfaces, or your standards.
At FastPrinting.com, we craft our stickers with premium materials that meet strict U.S. standards.
Waterproof, oil-resistant, weather-tested—our stickers don’t flake, melt, or fade.
From bottle labels to luxury product packaging, we’ve got stock options that feel as good as they look.
“Cheaper Overseas” Is Usually a Trap
Sure, that deal might look cheaper—until you factor in:
– Shipping fees
– Import taxes
– Exchange rate surprises
– Customer support that ghosts you
Meet the Humans Behind the Prints
Ordering with us means real conversations—not automated replies.
We’re designers, printers, and sticker fanatics who obsess over finishes, stock textures, and making your brand look incredible. We love what we do—and it shows.
When you shop with FastPrinting.com, you support local jobs, small business values, and people who actually care about your project.
Eco Matters. Overseas Doesn’t Always.
Shipping thousands of stickers across the world just to save a few cents? That’s not sustainable.
By printing local:
– You reduce air freight emissions
– You cut down packaging waste
– You support eco-conscious U.S. production
We work with recyclable, sustainable stocks and inks. You get greener printing—without compromising on quality.
Know Who You’re Buying From
Ever ordered from a shady overseas site and had zero idea who to contact when things went sideways?
With FastPrinting.com, you know exactly who we are, where we are, and how to reach us.
We speak your language, and we’re here to guide you through every step—from design to delivery.

The Myth; The Legend; The Sticky Note
In 1974, a man named Arthur Fry needed a way to bookmark songs in his hymnal – and thus, the sticky note was born.
Nowadays, it’s impossible to think of a business that doesn’t rely on those surface-grabbing slips of paper to remind people of errands to run, messages to return, and the login password they swear they’ll remember next time.
But the humble sticky note has grown with the times, and it’s no longer just something scattered around offices and tacked to computer screens. You can now make sticky notes work for you on a much more lucrative level. That’s where Fast Printing can help.
No better way to make your message stick
Do you want to raise your brand awareness? People spend thousands of dollars a year on comprehensive marketing and advertising campaigns, when they could start with something much smaller – literally. Branded sticky notes are a unique and fun way for customers to engage with your business, and to get your logo out into the world, and into people’s heads. With Fast Printing’s wide range of designs and styles, you can be certain that you’ll be promoting your business authentically. Sticky note pads are a perfect gift to hand out at tradeshows as promotional giveaways, a practical gesture of goodwill that your customer will actually use. This would also be a great way for charities to increase their visibility by including personalised sticky note pads in show bags at events.
This ensures that they will continue to think about your company or charity each time they write on the pad, potentially leading to more business further down the track.

How can our sticky notes represent your business?
You need only look at our sticky note gallery to see that we can pretty much do anything – from standard square pads, to stars and hearts, to cupcake- and owl-shaped pads! Additionally, with nine colors to choose from we’re sure you’ll be able to find your perfect match. Whatever your business, Fast Printing will be able to help you find the sticky note that best represents you and your business or charity.

Customers take things at face value
We all know the saying – don’t judge a book by it’s cover. But we also know that in our fast-paced lives, we rarely have a chance to spare products more than a passing glance. So it’s critical to catch them in that first encounter with a visually enticing label – a pleasing design, complementary colors, and attention-nabbing features. Once your product is in their hands, follow it up with a superior quality sticker that feels great under their fingertips. Of course, the final decider is whether your product is any good – but we’ll leave that part entirely up to you!
But our stickers aren’t just for products – level up your event invitations or special occasion notices with a customised sticker! Sending wedding invitations? Customise a personal logo for your big day – you and your partner’s initials in a gorgeous design that encapsulates your relationship – and use it to seal the invitations, or to decorate the menu! Handing out party favours? Thank all your guests with a sweet message attached to the gift with your names! The options are endless.

The Magic of Printed Invitations
There’s no denying that the digital age has seen a decline in the amount of printed invitations for parties. E-vites, Facebook events and all things social media have taken over the classic physical invite. But we still think there’s a space for the most elite occasions to adorn a beautifully printed invite, personally addressed to the sender. Take a look at what makes printed invites so special.
All about the style
A physical invite exudes style and class. Nothing preps the guests more than a save-the-date tailored to your event. A handwritten invitation, a shiny all-access pass, an exclusive invite, whatever event you’re planning, the invitation is what sets the stage. Get in early, ensure everyone’s well prepared, and establish the effortless style of your next party.
Creating exclusivity
Nothing says ‘you have to come’ like an exclusive invite. When you print out invitations, you allude to some level of prestige, a party that can only be accessed with your invite. This creates a buzz and excitement that an online invite just can’t recreate.
Establishes the theme
A custom made invite means much more than an announcement. When you create an invitation decked out with all the little pieces that establish mood, dress code and theme, you make sure more of your guests adhere to it. Nothing’s worse than a themed party where no one dresses up right!

A memory for good
The party is a success, but what keepsake do your guests have to cherish the memory? When you send out an invite, you have automatically provided your guests with a beautiful piece of time to remember. Whether it’s a wedding, a 21st, a 60th or an anniversary, a beautifully designed invitation stays in the memory box, without taking up too much space.
Know who’s invited and who is not
Not everyone is on Facebook, so ensuring you’ve got everyone included can become a hassle. With physical invitations you are in full control of who is invited, so no one misses the festivities. But just as you want to control who comes, you want to make sure others don’t come. No one likes a crasher, so keep things private with an official invite.
Got an event coming up? Order your invitations from Fast Printing and see how we can help you create an occasion to remember. Birthday, wedding, engagement or corporate event, your party starts with the invite.
Your Top Tips for Standing Out From the Masses
Sometimes in the corporate world, illusion is all you need to stand out from the masses. If you’re achieving your business targets and raking in the statistics but just not quite engaging with new customers like you want to, then maybe it’s worth considering implementing marketing collateral to project yourself into the wide world.
Marketing Collateral Explained
So, you ask, what exactly is marketing collateral? Funnily enough, this blog post you’re reading right now is the perfect example of marketing collateral – it’s a compilation of varying types of media used to improve the sales or performance of a product or service. In the past, ‘collateral’ broadly referred to the kinds of promotional brochures or sell sheets implemented by businesses to hand out to clients to support their sales; however in today’s heavily saturated digital marketing landscape, marketing collateral is often used by businesses as both a branding tool and a way to inform potential customers about exactly what they can do for them. This makes marketing collateral an invaluable tool for businesses looking to burst into technicolor and make their services stand out amidst the endless grey seas of suits and ties.

Different Types of Marketing Collateral
While blog posts are certainly an excellent way to engage with possible customers and enhance your online presence, there are several ways to approach marketing collateral to suit the nuances of your own business. Some companies implement marketing collateral tools such as lengthy mission statements and press releases to extol their virtues to both customers and the media, while many simply get by using testimonials or even email signatures to give their business a much-needed boost above the rest.
Get Offline with your Marketing Collateral Efforts
Although most of modern marketing tends to exist in the realm of the internet, it’s also a good idea to ensure that your marketing collateral presence exists offline as well. Small touches such as professional looking business cards, sleek point-of-sale displays, company calendars or branded journals can make a great first impression, particularly if you’re dealing with older clients. Even the simplest of marketing collateral tactics such as sending out direct mail newsletters or handing out brochures to advertise your goods and services can create a memorable experience for the staunchest of clients offline.
Regardless of whether you focus your marketing collateral efforts towards audiences off or online, there’s no doubt that marketing collateral can make your corporate affairs bloom when used effectively. So, get brainstorming and think of some unique ways to make your business stick out today!
Use Your Senses When Designing your Bags this Holiday
A hand across smooth, silky paper. The smell of fresh printing. The feel of a well-crafted handle in your hand. The sound of a new sweater slid into a crisp bag. Quality lies in the details. Unlock the powers of a great shopping bag this holiday season by using your senses.
Are you in the process of restocking your supply of shopping bags, and you are unsure of where to begin? Fast Printing is here to help. We are specialists in the design and printing of standout custom bags and tags and are passionate about the powerful effect the senses can have on the experience of a shopping bag.
Spending money to make money
It’s a common misconception that spending money on custom shopping bags is a luxury, rather than a necessity. But the truth is – spending time and effort on making beautiful shopping bags that stand out – and stand out to the right audiences – is key to sticking in the mind of your customer post-sale. This is because so much of our decision-making happens on a subliminal level.
A luxe bag is something your customer will appreciate and remember – and may make your store at the forefront of their mind when they’re going shopping later. Customers may even keep it, or (if it’s a present) use the bag itself as wrapping.

Win over customers by courting their senses
Beyond looking great, there’s so much that goes into making a great shopping bag. We know that unlocking the powers of the senses is one of the most important choices you can make.
Sight: Make sure your bag is pristine upon inspection. Working with a quality-minded printing company will ensure a top-notch result.
Touch: really consider the material you use for your bag to unlock the powers of touch. How? Consider a smooth paper bag with a glossy design, or indented text printed onto it, and a well-crafted handle. These can create interesting features for fingers to roam.
Hearing: When choosing your bag material – consider the way it sounds when unfolded, when products are put inside it and so on.
Smell: Who doesn’t love the smell of books and printing? If your bags are fresh off the press let the smell of newly printed ink speak for itself. For a smell that’s distinct to your shop, consider investing in a spritzing bottle of a refreshing essential oil. Smell is the sense with the strongest link to long-term memory, so use it to your advantage.
Taste: as a bonus, why not offer something sweet like a small chocolate or mint before waving your customer goodbye?
Discuss your options with a bag printing company such as Fast Printing
With all these benefits coming along with investing in shopping bags, there’s no reason why you should stick to a generic plastic bag. A professional printing company can help you bring your ideas to life and craft a complete sensory experience from such a small thing as a product bag. Think big!
Make Your Business Card Stand Out in A Good Way
The making of an effective business card is far more than your name and contact information. If you’ve recently landed a new position, or you’ve realised that your current business cards don’t reflect you, it’s time to get printing. Fast Printing has tips on why making the effort to perfect your business cards can be one of the best investments of time and money you can make.
Business cards for effective networking
When someone asks for your information, it’s always great to know that you’ve got a card on-hand that not only contains the easiest ways to contact you, but that also reflects the value and quality you can provide.
Once you’ve parted ways, your business card becomes a representation of you, your business, and the value that you may provide to the people you’ve given it to. It shows the value you put into your current job, and your own work. If your business card is printed on cheap cardboard, contains typos, or is outdated it can significantly reduce the impression you gave in person, so make sure you make the best impression – in person and on cardboard.
Get them printed professionally
We can’t stress this enough. It’s possible to print business cards at home. It doesn’t mean it should be done. Getting a professional printing company to do the job for you is likely to save you time and effort, and provide a superior result to boot.

Keep it clean
Today, there are infinite choices when it comes to making your business card stand out. With endless choices, it’s easy to go overboard, or lose your way. Embellishments such as glossy finishes, holes punched, quirky shapes, and mini-brochures can seem exciting, but too much and it veers on annoying. Keeping it clean and simple is not only more affordable, but it shows confidence. You don’t need to embellish unnecessarily – your information speaks for itself.
That said, choosing one or two high end design features can give your card the finesse it needs to stand out. If your business prides itself on its eco-efforts, why not invest in a card made from recycled paper? If you work in banking, finance, or law, perhaps a few careful gold touches could add an air of exclusivity? The choices are endless!
Leaving some white space for people to jot down information about you for later is also great! After a networking event people may just forget whose face belonged to which business card.
Invest in a card holder
Speaking of keeping it clean. This goes not only for the design process, but storing and carrying them, too. The most well-made, stunning card will do you little good if when you hand it over it’s stained, crinkled, folded or smudged because you kept it loose in a pocket. Investing in a business-card specific holder is key to ensuring the cards you give out are crisp and pristine every time.
